| Uncalled Four Acapella Quartet |
Hurricane City sponsors a Summer Concert
in the Park series. Last night we spent a perfect evening in the Hurricane
City Park on Main and 200 North watching the acapella quartet, Uncalled Four. Though
a storm threatened, it never formed, and the typical hot July temperatures
dipped down to the low 90’s to create the perfect setting for a concert in the
park.
The all male quartet presented a variety of music including
the Beach Boys, Beatles, folk songs and children’s songs. They even performed,
for the first time ever, their own song about the red, red dirt of Dixie. They sing because they enjoy it, and they said that they are happy to perform at most any gathering, just contact them.
There is only one concert left in the Hurricane summer series, so mark
your calendars for August 14 to hear Leif Bjarnson with the Forresters.
Many of our communities in Southern Utah sponsor fun, free
community events that can be enjoyed by all ages. The key seems to be keeping
